Description
A double contrast barium enema performed with X-ray technique shows a normal distal descending and a portion peak of the sigmoid colon . The ridged and rotund shapes of the haustra are part of the general tubular shape of the large bowel.
If we take ourselves on a colonic journey we find a roller coaster ride down the descending colon, then a steep ascent to the peak of the sigmoid mountain and then an almost 180 degree turn as it begins a steep descent on its way to the exit.
Artistically the purple color is calming and the shapes of the colon are magical.
This art piece is suitable for an office or institution that is involved with the intestinal tract or a pharmaceutical company that provides reprieve for gastrointestinal ailments.
